Blackfoot Hosts 65th Annual Member Meeting
Blackfoot hosted its 65th Annual Meeting for Cooperative member-owners on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 10:30am at the Hilton Garden Inn in Missoula.
The theme of this year’s meeting was Building on Success. More than 475 member-owners had the opportunity to visit with community neighbors and were given an update on the state of their cooperative from CEO, Jason Williams. This year’s meeting included an outdoor equipment display to highlight fiber optic building projects in our service areas across Montana. New this year, attendees enjoyed a trade show atmosphere with several Blackfoot departments on hand to share updates on products, services and educational initiatives.
This year’s annual Partner Spotlight was the Missoula College. Acting Dean, Clint Reading, spoke to attendees about the mission of the Missoula College and acknowledged Blackfoot for their support and commitment to education. This year’s Community Corner was the United States Forest Service, Region 1. The Forest Service hosted an informational table that gave Blackfoot members the chance to learn about fire season prevention and to meet special guest, Smokey the Bear.
