On December 8, the Blackfoot Board of Trustees named Jason Williams as Chief Executive Officer of Blackfoot. “I am humbled by the trust the Board has placed in me,” Williams said. “I am confident that with the support of Blackfoot’s talented, hard-working employees, we will not miss a beat in carrying out all of the initiatives we have planned in the coming years.”
Williams, who received his BA from Notre Dame and his JD from the University of Montana, also brings 20 years of telecommunications, business and legal experience to this role. With Blackfoot since September 2012, most recently as Chief Operating Officer, Williams was named interim CEO after the death of Bill Squires in November.
