Ensuring our customers and communities remain connected is critical in extraordinary times.
On Thursday, April 30, FCC Chairman Ajit Pai urged broadband and telephone providers to continue service, waive late fees and keep WiFi hotspots open until June 30, 2020. Blackfoot is extending our Keep Americans Connected pledge through June 30, ensuring our customers and communities remain connected during this challenging time.
As parts of Montana and Idaho begin to reopen, it’s important Blackfoot continues to provide service during this transition. The Blackfoot board and its employees have supported our service areas and communities with free public WiFi hotspots, donations to local resources and providing service options to our residential and business customers. Extending this pledge through June is the right thing to do for our customers and communities.”

In extending the Keep Americans Connected pledge, Blackfoot commits to continue the following:
- We will not terminate service to any customer due to an inability to pay bills.
- We will waive late fees.
- We will open WiFi hotspots to any customers who need them.
Over the past two months, we’ve heard from our customers and communities how much this commitment means to them. From bandwidth upgrades to supporting our educators and students, we continue looking for ways to help the communities we serve.”
