Blackfoot announced today a change to its Executive Leadership team. Aaron Neilson, who has been serving as Vice President and General Counsel, is joining the Missoula-based firm of Christian and Samson as a Partner. Blackfoot will retain Mr. Neilson as its outside general counsel.
“This is a great opportunity for Aaron and I wish him the best of luck in his new venture,” said Jason Williams, Blackfoot’s CEO. “I am delighted Blackfoot will retain his high-quality legal skills as he serves as our outside counsel.”
During his in-house tenure at Blackfoot, Mr. Neilson helped navigate the legal and regulatory aspects on a number of Blackfoot’s key initiatives, including Blackfoot’s footprint in 16 states across the greater Pacific Northwest, C2M beta (Blackfoot’s open innovation lab) and in achieving more than $60 million in annual revenues.
As Blackfoot’s outside general counsel, Mr. Neilson will continue handling Blackfoot’s general legal and regulatory compliance matters.
