Blackfoot Communications’ Annual Meeting Will Not Be Held In 2021

Blackfoot Communications announced it will not be holding its cooperative-focused Annual Meeting in 2021. Originally scheduled for October 9, the company’s Board of Trustees determined the Delta variant and the ongoing pandemic played too large a risk to meet this year.

The 2022 Annual Meeting has been scheduled for April 30, 2022.

Blackfoot’s Annual Meeting is a yearly event bringing hundreds of the company’s member-owners across Western Montana together to learn about Blackfoot initiatives and to engage in-person with Blackfoot employees.

“With the spread of the Delta variant, Blackfoot’s Board of Trustees made the decision not to hold the 2021 Annual Meeting. The safety of our employees, customers and communities is of the greatest importance and with the ongoing pandemic, this is the right decision. While we will not meet in-person, Blackfoot will continue working with our member-owners to keep them informed of our many broadband, fiber and voice projects that will benefit their communities. We look forward to meeting with our member-owners at the 2022 Annual meeting.”

– Jason Williams, CEO, Blackfoot Communications
