Blackfoot’s Annual Meeting Will Not Be Held In 2020

Today, Blackfoot Telephone Cooperative announced it has cancelled its 2020 Annual Meeting, a yearly event bringing hundreds of member-owners across Western Montana together to learn about Blackfoot initiatives and to engage in-person with Blackfoot employees.

While the 2020 Annual Meeting – originally scheduled for April 25 in Missoula – will not meet, Blackfoot intends to provide updates to its members and communities through ongoing notices, education and online events.

Our Board of Trustees determined that due to the current environment, the 2020 Annual Meeting will not be held. In putting the safety of our employees, customers and communities first, this is the right decision. While we will not meet in-person, Blackfoot will continue working with our member-owners to keep them informed of our many broadband projects that will benefit their communities.”

Jason Williams, Blackfoot CEO

Blackfoot Telephone Cooperative operates as a nonprofit corporation serving rural Western Montana homes and businesses since 1954. Customers who buy services from the cooperative become members, and therefore, part owners in the cooperative. The Annual Meeting is an invitation-only event and an opportunity for member-owners to learn more about their cooperative.
